Considerable disagreement exists regarding whether endometrial polyps should be removed before attempting natural pregnancy and before pregnancy via intrauterine insemination (IUI) or in vitro fertilization (IVF). Through a literature review, we obtained information on the impact of endometrial polyps and polypectomy on fertility outcomes. BACKGROUND/AIMS: The aim of this meta-analysis was to determine whether frozen embryo transfer (ET) increases ectopic pregnancy (EP) rate compared with fresh ET.
