Professor Dong Kyu Kim's research lab focuses on advancing wireless communication systems and biomedical engineering, with key research directions in in-band full-duplex (IBFD) radio technologies, self-interference cancellation techniques, and the application of advanced signal processing in OFDM systems. The lab also investigates cardiovascular function assessment using echocardiographic imaging and explores the biological mechanisms linking aging to neurodegenerative diseases, particularly through protein aggregation dynamics in model organisms. Additionally, the lab contributes to transportation policy and mobility-as-a-service (MaaS) research, emphasizing user behavior and system integration.
