Professor Ee Kyung Kim's research lab focuses on neonatal health, particularly the impact of early-life inflammation, neurodevelopmental outcomes, and brain injury in preterm infants. The lab investigates immune modulation through maternal colostrum, the role of pro-inflammatory cytokines like TNF-α in white matter injury, and the long-term effects of postnatal growth on brain development.
