Professor Han Yong Choi's research lab focuses on the intersection of molecular biology, nanoelectronics, and cancer therapeutics. The lab investigates electrical transport mechanisms in DNA molecules, exploring their potential for use in nanoscale electronic devices such as DNA field-effect transistors. Simultaneously, the lab conducts translational cancer research, particularly examining the role of natural compounds like curcumin in enhancing chemotherapy efficacy and overcoming drug resistance in bladder and prostate cancers.
