研究室紹介

Professor Hee-Joon Park's research lab specializes in pharmaceutical formulation and drug delivery technologies, with a strong focus on enhancing the solubility, stability, and bioavailability of poorly water-soluble drugs. The lab develops advanced delivery systems such as self-emulsifying and supersaturable SEDDS, micro/nanoparticles, and PLGA-based formulations, emphasizing process optimization and excipient selection to improve drug performance. Research also extends into health technology adoption, particularly mobile payment systems and digital information sharing, where behavioral models are applied to understand user intentions and technology use patterns. The lab integrates pharmaceutical science with behavioral and organizational studies to address real-world challenges in drug development and health technology implementation.

SJR Q1Journal of Knowledge Management

Many scholars and practitioners claim that a supportive organizational culture can enable the successful implementation of knowledge management (KM) technology initiatives. However, little empirical research has been conducted to define the key organizational culture attributes that support more effective application of KM technologies. In this study, the 44 cultural attributes of the organizational culture profile (OCP) and the knowledge management technology profile (KMTP) instruments were use

SJR Q1PharmaceuticsOA

Self-emulsifying drug delivery systems (SEDDSs) are a vital strategy to enhance the bioavailability (BA) of formulations of poorly water-soluble compounds. However, these formulations have certain limitations, including in vivo drug precipitation, poor in vitro in vivo correlation due to a lack of predictive in vitro tests, issues in handling of liquid formulation, and physico-chemical instability of drug and/or vehicle components. To overcome these limitations, which restrict the potential usag

With the fast dissemination of smartphones, Mobile Payment Service was able to spread widely in a short time. Especially, MEPS, one of the most advanced type of MPS, holds a significant part in the South Korean market. However, most research up to now has focused on the initial use intention. Considering the maturity of the market, previous studies have limits on interpreting the current market situation. In order to reflect the current status and predict the future market, we considered the con

SJR Q1PharmaceuticsOA

Micro-/nanoparticle formulations containing drugs with or without various biocompatible excipients are widely used in the pharmaceutical field to improve the physicochemical and clinical properties of the final drug product. Among the various micro-/nanoparticle production technologies, emulsion-based particle formation is the most widely used because of its unique advantages such as uniform generation of spherical small particles and higher encapsulation efficiency (EE). For this emulsion-based

-glycolic acid)) microspheres prepared by the water-in-oil-in-water (W/O/W) solvent evaporation (SE) method. It was shown that the stabilizers affected exenatide stability in aqueous solutions, at water/dichloromethane interfaces, on PLGA surfaces, or during freeze-thawing and freeze-drying procedures. Sucrose predominantly reduces instability generated during freeze-thawing and freeze-drying. Phenylalanine prevents the destabilization at the water-dichloromethane (DCM) interface through decreas

The purpose of this research is to explain the information-sharing process and investigate the intrinsic and extrinsic motivations that may induce information sharing on Facebook. Using the theory of planned behaviour, this research distinguishes between information-sharing intention and information-sharing behaviour. Based on self-determination theory, this research selects the extrinsic and intrinsic motivations that influence intention. Based on a survey of 233 South Korean Facebook users in

Purpose: Most therapeutic agents have limitations owing to low selectivity and poor solubility, resulting in post-treatment side effects. Therefore, there is a need to improve solubility and develop new formulations to deliver therapeutic agents specifically to the target site. Gelatin is a natural protein that is composed of several amino acids. Previous studies revealed that gelatin contains arginyl-glycyl-aspartic acid (RGD) sequences that become ligands for the integrin receptors expressed o

SJR Q1Total Quality Management & Business Excellence

Abstract The purpose of this study is to identify the relationship between organisational culture and service quality through the organisational learning framework in knowledge intensive business services (KIBS). This study set independent variables as four types of organisational cultures (group culture, developmental culture, rational culture, and hierarchical culture) from Quinn's competing values model. The dependent variable is KIBS quality based on SERVQUAL and the mediating variables that
