Professor Hee Tae Kim's research lab focuses on translational biomedical research, particularly in neurodegenerative diseases, autoimmune disorders, and molecular mechanisms of cancer prevention. The lab investigates Parkinson’s disease using biomarkers from nasal fluid, explores autonomic dysfunction in Parkinson’s and SWEDDs patients via ambulatory monitoring, and examines retinoid signaling pathways in breast cancer chemoprevention. Additionally, the lab contributes to understanding rare autoimmune co-morbidities and the neural pathways underlying dizziness, reflecting a multidisciplinary approach integrating clinical neurology, molecular biology, and immunology.
