Professor Hojoon Seol's research lab specializes in cerebrovascular diseases and neuro-oncology, with a focus on understanding the pathophysiology of moyamoya disease, vestibular schwannoma, and glioblastoma. The lab investigates hemodynamic factors in cerebrovascular disorders, molecular mechanisms of glioma invasion, and personalized treatment strategies based on genomic subtyping of brain tumors. Using clinical data, advanced imaging, and patient-derived xenograft models, the lab aims to improve surgical outcomes and develop targeted therapies for brain tumors and cerebrovascular conditions.

We present a rare case of pathologically proven inflammatory pseudotumor in the thoracic spine. The lesion showed an isointense signal on T1-weighted images, a heterogeneous iso- and hyperintense signal on T2-weighted images, and strong homogeneous enhancement.
