Professor Hoseong Lee's research lab specializes in advanced control systems and sustainable energy technologies. The lab focuses on developing robust motion control systems for high-precision industrial applications, integrating friction compensation, disturbance observers, and feedforward control for enhanced performance. In parallel, the lab investigates environmental sustainability in residential heating and cooling systems, particularly through life cycle climate performance (LCCP) analysis of vapor compression cycles using low-GWP refrigerants. These efforts aim to reduce environmental impacts across the entire product lifecycle.
