Professor Jae-young Jang's research lab specializes in advanced endoscopic technologies and gastrointestinal disease management, with a focus on improving the early detection and treatment of gastric neoplasms. The lab investigates innovative endoscopic techniques such as narrow-band imaging, magnifying endoscopy, and endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) to enhance diagnostic accuracy and therapeutic outcomes. Research also extends to cytoprotective mechanisms in H. pylori-induced gastritis and the development of novel hemostatic strategies for peptic ulcer bleeding.

Abstract Sarcopenia is becoming prevalent in an increasing number of older adults undergoing total knee replacement (TKR) surgery. Metal implants may overestimate lean mass (LM) measured using dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DXA). This study aimed to examine the effects of TKR on LM measurements according to automatic metal detection (AMD) processing.
