Professor Jaeyeol Im's research lab specializes in regenerative medicine and tissue engineering, with a primary focus on salivary gland regeneration and radiation-induced tissue damage. The lab investigates the therapeutic potential of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs), particularly human adipose-derived MSCs (hAdMSCs), in promoting tissue repair through paracrine signaling and secretome-mediated mechanisms.
