Professor Jeong-Gu Kim's research lab specializes in advanced materials and electrochemical sensing technologies, with a focus on developing functional nanomaterials for energy and biomedical applications. The lab investigates metallic nanowire-based transparent conductive electrodes through scalable roll-to-roll electroplating processes, aiming to enhance performance and cost-efficiency for flexible electronics. In addition, the lab explores corrosion-resistant materials for industrial infrastructure, particularly pipeline steels in harsh environments, and designs highly sensitive electrochemical aptasensors for early cancer diagnosis using biomarkers like VEGF165. These interdisciplinary efforts integrate materials science, electrochemistry, and bioengineering to address real-world challenges in energy, health, and infrastructure.

브랜드개성이 구전과 브랜드애호도에 미치는 영향: 사회적 일체감 이론의 적용

본 연구는 브랜드개성을 기초로 한 소비자와 브랜드간의 일체감 개념을 이용하여 브랜드개성의 브랜드자산 구축효과를 살펴보고자 수행되었다. 이동전화 시장의 경쟁에 초점을 맞추어 브랜드개성의 매력성, 독특성, 자기표현, 그리고 긍정적 구전의도와 브랜드 애호도를 브랜드일체감을 중심으로 상관계수 행렬을 이용한 구조모형을 통해 실증 분석하였다. 연구결과 브랜드개성이 독특하고 자신을 잘 표현할수록 브랜드개성의 매력성이 증가하고 이는 브랜드일체감에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 브랜드일체감은 긍정적 구전에 직접적인 영향을 미치고, 이를 통해 간접적으로 애호도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구의 실무적, 학문적 시사점을 논의하고 연구의 한계점 및 미래연구를 제안하였다.
