Professor Ji-Seon Nam's research lab focuses on the pathophysiological mechanisms linking metabolic disorders—particularly type 2 diabetes and its complications—with cardiovascular and renal diseases. The lab investigates novel biomarkers such as the atherogenic index of plasma (AIP), hemorheologic parameters, and myokines to understand early disease progression and metabolic dysfunction.
