Professor Jin-soo Ahn's research lab specializes in advanced materials development for biomedical and energy applications, with a strong focus on dental biomaterials and solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs). The lab investigates innovative strategies to enhance bonding in dental ceramics, develop effective and aesthetic treatments for dentin hypersensitivity inspired by natural self-healing mechanisms, and improve the performance of low-temperature SOFCs through advanced nanostructured electrolytes and electrode engineering. Their work bridges materials science, biomineralization, and energy technology to address clinical and environmental challenges.
