研究室紹介

Professor Jong-Woo Kim's research lab specializes in the design and fabrication of advanced nanomaterials for environmental and energy applications. The lab focuses on developing efficient photocatalysts, particularly titanium dioxide-based nanostructures modified with carbon materials and metal co-catalysts, for the degradation of organic pollutants and solar energy conversion. Key research directions include nanostructured photoelectrodes, surface engineering of semiconductors, and the integration of 2D materials like graphene oxide and reduced graphene oxide to enhance charge separation and catalytic activity. The lab also explores continuous-flow photocatalytic systems for practical environmental remediation applications.
