Professor Jun-Bum Park's research lab specializes in cardiac electrophysiology and structural heart disease, with a focus on atrial fibrillation (AF) mechanisms, risk stratification, and ablation outcomes. The lab investigates the electrophysiological and anatomical substrates of AF, including left atrial remodeling, f-wave dynamics, and late gadolinium enhancement (LGE) patterns on cardiac MRI. They also explore clinical implications of prehypertension, impaired fasting glucose, and early rhythm control in acute stroke patients with new-onset AF. Their work bridges non-invasive imaging, ECG biomarkers, and long-term outcomes to refine arrhythmia management strategies.
