Professor Jung-Sun Won's research lab specializes in remote sensing and geospatial analysis, with a focus on advancing Earth observation technologies for environmental monitoring and hazard assessment. The lab develops innovative radar-based methodologies using synthetic aperture radar (SAR) and interferometric SAR (InSAR) to address challenges in sea ice monitoring, coal mine subsidence, rice paddy height estimation, vessel tracking, and digital elevation modeling in dynamic coastal environments.
