Professor Kim Jong-Woo's research lab focuses on translational biomedical research spanning cancer biology, neurogastroenterology, and ophthalmic imaging. The lab investigates molecular mechanisms in pancreatic carcinogenesis, gut-brain axis interactions under stress, and the application of deep learning in retinal disease diagnosis. It also explores nutritional factors in skin cancer prevention and non-pharmacological interventions like auricular acupuncture for cognitive disorders.
