Professor Mi Jung Lee's research lab focuses on clinical and translational studies in nephrology, particularly in dialysis patients and chronic kidney disease management. The lab investigates metabolic and cardiovascular outcomes, with a strong emphasis on identifying predictive biomarkers—such as interdialytic weight gain, residual urine volume, and atherogenic index of plasma (AIP)—for mortality and disease progression.
