Professor Min Ju Kim's research lab specializes in biomedical engineering and translational medicine, focusing on developing innovative biomaterials and therapeutic strategies for chronic diseases. Key research directions include designing injectable hydrogel depots for targeted drug delivery in inflammatory joint diseases, exploring the protective effects of natural antioxidants like lycopene and genistein in metabolic and renal disorders, and advancing medical imaging techniques for non-invasive diagnosis and staging of conditions such as hepatic focal nodular hyperplasia and rectal cancer. The lab integrates materials science, molecular biology, and clinical imaging to improve treatment outcomes in metabolic, renal, and musculoskeletal diseases.

Transrectal ultrasonography (TRUS) has been widely accepted as a popular imaging modality for evaluating the lower rectum, anal sphincters, and pelvic floor in patients with various anorectal diseases. 본 연구에서는 다수의 공적개발원조 수혜국들을 대상으로 원조수혜의 이유에 대한 분석을 실시한다. 원조수혜의 이유들에 대해 이론적으로 논의한 후 경험적 분석을 통해 현실에서도 원조수혜의 이유들이 원조수혜국들의 원조수혜에 영향을 주는가를 분석한다. 이때 본 연구가 특히 관심을 갖는 원조수혜의 이유는 ‘원조수혜국의 열악한(bad) 거버넌스’이다. 그동안 원조수혜국의 열악한 거버넌스 개선은 원조수혜국들이 원조공여국가들로부터 원조를 제공받는 이유들 중 하나로 언급되어 왔다는 점에서, 그것이 경험적 분석에서도 유의미하게 나타나는지를 분석하고자 하는 것이다. 여기서 특별히 중점적으로 살펴볼 것은, 1990년대 후반 이후 원조수혜국들의 원조수혜의 이유가 ‘이행조건으로써 거버넌스 개선’에서 ‘선택조건으로써 거버넌스 개선’으로 강조점이 변화되었다는 점에서, 경험적 분석에서도 과연 그러한 변화가 나타나고 있는가에 대해 분석하는 것이다. 분석결과는 공적개발원조 활동에 대한 이론적 시사점과 OECD/DAC
Adjacent-organ injuries by ePTFE graft after LDLT were rare but present. Interventional procedures, adhesion of the bowel wall and early occlusion of the grafts were possible risk factors.
Barium-based fecal tagging using both the 40% w/v and the 4.6% w/v barium suspensions showed moderate tagging efficacy. The preliminary comparison did not demonstrate a statistically significant difference in the tagging efficacy between the use of the two tagging agents, despite the tendency toward better tagging with the use of the 4.6% w/v barium suspension.
