Professor Min Jung Park's research lab specializes in advanced materials science and biomedical imaging, with a focus on the functionalization of carbon nanomaterials for biomedical and catalytic applications. The lab also investigates neurodegenerative disease biomarkers, particularly α-synuclein oligomers in Parkinson’s disease, and explores innovative magnetic resonance imaging techniques for early detection of liver and colorectal cancers. Additionally, the lab examines neuroprotective mechanisms of sodium butyrate in stroke models, emphasizing its dual role in reducing brain injury and enhancing growth factor expression. These interdisciplinary efforts bridge nanotechnology, neuroscience, and medical imaging to develop novel diagnostic and therapeutic strategies.

15Multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) were covalently modified with imidazolium salt-based ionic liquids (ILs). This study examines: 1) how Korean elementary school teachers perceive recent curriculum reforms; 2) where their perceptions emanate from; and 3) what support teachers need in order to implement curriculum reforms actively and effectively. This study has shown that teachers generally harbour negative and unconstructive feelings about curriculum reform. A Gram-negative bacterium, designated strain EMB117T, was isolated from a municipal wastewater treatment plant and characterized by polyphasic taxonomy.
