Professor Ming Zeng's research lab focuses on sustainable energy systems, with a strong emphasis on renewable energy integration, smart grid technologies, and energy policy. The lab investigates innovative solutions such as virtual power plants, vehicle-to-grid systems, and demand response management to enhance grid stability and efficiency. It also explores the legal and economic frameworks needed to support China’s transition to low-carbon energy systems, particularly in wind and solar energy development. The research integrates technical, economic, and institutional perspectives to address challenges in energy transition and environmental sustainability.
