Professor Sang-hun Aeh's research lab focuses on interdisciplinary biomedical and materials science research, with key strengths in drug delivery systems, biomaterials for energy storage, and medical imaging technologies. The lab investigates the physicochemical properties of pharmaceutical formulations—particularly corticosteroid particle size—and develops advanced therapeutic agents such as DPP-IV-resistant GLP-1 analogs for diabetes treatment. It also explores functional oxide materials, including TiO₂-coated ZnO for Ni-Zn batteries, and applies image-based recognition systems for clinical diagnostics and human-computer interaction.
