Professor Seunghyun Lee's research lab specializes in interdisciplinary biomedical and nanotechnological innovations, focusing on autoimmune disease mechanisms, particularly anti-DNA antibody interactions, and their implications in systemic lupus erythematosus. The lab also develops advanced biosensing platforms, such as ionic field-effect transistors (IFETs), for molecular detection across diverse electrolytic environments. Additionally, the lab contributes to biomedical imaging, particularly using arterial spin-labeling MRI to evaluate cerebrovascular hemodynamics in patients with moyamoya disease. These efforts reflect a strong integration of molecular biology, nanofabrication, and clinical imaging technologies.
