Professor Su Young Oh's research lab focuses on biomedical and physiological studies related to maternal and neonatal health, with a strong emphasis on nutritional status and trace element levels during pregnancy. The lab investigates the impact of vitamin D deficiency and trace elements—such as zinc, selenium, copper, and cobalt—on pregnancy outcomes, including preterm birth, gestational diabetes, and fetal growth restriction. Additionally, the lab explores histological inflammatory responses in preterm premature rupture of membranes (PPROM) and their correlation with neonatal morbidity and mortality. The research integrates clinical data with biochemical analysis to understand the biological mechanisms underlying adverse pregnancy outcomes.

Analysis of the channel inversion layer capacitance in the very thin-gate IGFET

As the gate insulator thickness approaches the channel thickness, the gate capacitance is speculated to be smaller than its gate insulator capacitance.
