Professor Suyeong Yoon's research lab specializes in hematopoiesis, myelofibrosis, and molecular diagnostics, with a focus on growth factors, cytokine signaling, and biomarker discovery in hematologic disorders. The lab investigates the cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying bone marrow fibrosis, myeloproliferative neoplasms, and autoimmune arthritis using immunohistochemistry, advanced immunoassays, and molecular virology techniques. Innovative diagnostic platforms, including SERS-based aptamer assays and in vivo probes for proteases, are developed to enable sensitive detection of disease-related proteins.

Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) is the leading cause of lower respiratory tract infections and hospitalization in infants and young children.
