Professor Yun Suhk Suh's research lab specializes in gastrointestinal oncology, with a primary focus on gastric cancer management, including early detection, surgical innovation, and molecular mechanisms underlying disease progression. The lab investigates the efficacy and cost-effectiveness of national cancer screening programs, advances in minimally invasive surgical techniques such as single-incision and pylorus-preserving gastrectomy, and the molecular biomarkers associated with aggressive lymph node metastasis.
