The motivation of the current article is to explore the energy activation in MHD radiative Couette-Poiseuille flow nanofluid in horizontal channel with convective boundary conditions. The mathematical model of Buongiorno [1] effectively describes the current flow analysis. Additionally, the impact of chemical reaction is also taken in account. The governing flow equations are simplified with the help of boundary layer approximations. Non-linear coupled equations for momentum, energy and mass tra
Biologically-inspired propulsion systems are currently receiving significant interest in the aerospace sector. Since many spacecraft propulsion systems operate at high temperatures, thermal radiation is important as a mode of heat transfer. Motivated by these developments, in the present article, the influence of nonlinear thermal radiation (via the Rosseland diffusion flux model) has been studied on the laminar, incompressible, dissipative EMHD (Electro-magneto-hydrodynamic) peristaltic propuls
The internal average energy loss caused by entropy generation for steady mixed convective Poiseuille flow of a nanofluid, suspended with titanium dioxide (TiO2) particles in water, and passed through a wavy channel, was investigated. The models of thermal conductivity and viscosity of titanium dioxide of 21 nm size particles with a volume concentration of temperature ranging from 15 °C to 35 °C were utilized. The characteristics of the working fluid were dependent on electro-magnetohy
The aim of this paper is to study the different shapes of nanoparticles on mixed convective steady flow over a rotating disk. For nanofluid, the copper nanoparticles of disk, cylindrical, and spherical shapes of different sizes and water as base fluid are considered. The physical problem is first modeled and then the governing equations are transformed into nonlinear ordinary differential equations. These equations are dimensionless using geometrical and physical flowfield-dependent parameters a
The primary goal of this research is to present a novel computational intelligence approach of the AI-based Levenberg–Marquardt scheme under the influence of backpropagated neural network (LMS-BPNN) for optimizing MHD ternary hybrid nanofluid using Casson fluid over a porous shrinking sheet in the existence of thermal radiation (Rd) effects. The governing partial differential equations (PDEs) showing the Casson ternary hybrid nanofluid are converted into a system of ordinary differential equatio
The purpose of the present paper was to investigate the flow and heat transfer of Jeffery fluid past a linearly stretching sheet with the effect of a magnetic dipole. The governing differential equations of motion and heat transfer are transformed into nonlinear coupled ordinary differential equations (ODEs) using appropriate similarity transformations. Then the ODEs are solved by adopting two different schemes, Runge–Kutta with shooting technique and series solution based on GA and NM. The effe
This study deals with the peristaltic transport of non-Newtonian Jeffrey fluid with uniformly distributed identical rigid particles in a rectangular duct. The effects of a magnetohydrodynamics bio-bi-phase flow are taken into account. The governing equations for mass and momentum are simplified using the fact that wavelength is much greater than the amplitude and small Reynolds number. A closed-form solution for velocity is obtained by means of the eigenfunction expansion method whereby pressure
Purpose The purpose of this study is to examine the simultaneous effects of Hafnium particles and partially submerged metallic particles for the flow of bi-phase coupled stress fluid over an inclined flat plane. Design/methodology/approach An unflinching free stream flow that stretches far from the surface of the plane with the possibility of containing some partially submerged metallic particles is considered. Innovative model has been proposed and designed using Runge–Kutta–Fehlberg method. Fi
