Akihide Hibara 교수의 연구실은 마이크로유체 및 나노유체 분야에서 초점을 맞추고 있으며, 특히 유체의 표면 에너지, 표면 처리, 그리고 표면장력 제어를 통한 정밀한 유체 제어 기술을 핵심 연구 주제로 삼고 있습니다. 나노미터 크기의 채널 제작, 표면 기반 유체 유도, 다상 유동 제어, 그리고 레이저 산란을 활용한 표면 현상 분석 기법 개발을 통해 미세유체 시스템의 기초 물리화학적 메커니즘을 규명하고 있습니다. 특히, 유체의 상호작용과 계면 현상을 정량적으로 분석할 수 있는 고감도 분광 기법과 접촉 없는 표면장력 측정 기술의 개발로 응용 가능성을 넓히고 있습니다.

We have fabricated nanometer-sized channels, demonstrated a technique for the introduction of liquid into the channels, and carried out time-resolved fluorescence measurements of aqueous solutions. Abstract This paper reports a novel distillation method in microchannels. For the gas–liquid separator in the evaporator, hydrophilic–hydrophobic patterned microchannel structure was utilized. We report a contactless surface tension measurement method of micrometer-sized aerosol droplets. In this method, we assume spherical spontaneous resonance of a thermally induced capillary wave.
