Atsumu Kouketsu 교수의 연구실은 구강암을 중심으로 한 종양 생물학과 면역학적 미세환경 연구에 집중하고 있습니다. 특히 허브바이러스(HPV) 관련 구강편평세포암, p16 및 IDO1 등 면역조절 분자와의 연관성, 그리고 전임상적 조건에서의 뼈 재생 재료의 기능성 등 다학제적 접근을 통해 구강암의 진단 및 치료 전략 개발을 목표로 하고 있습니다. 또한, 희귀 종양인 혼합형 신경분비세포-비신경분비세포 종양(MiNEN)의 임상적 특성 규명에도 기여하고 있습니다.
