아쓰시 타카하라 교수의 연구실은 고분자 재료의 거동과 내구성을 이해하기 위해 동적 공유 결합, 기계적 스트레인 감지 기능을 가진 기계학성 분자, 그리고 양이온성 고분자와 같은 스마트 고분자 시스템을 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 특히 자가치유 고분자, 수소 친화성 표면, 그리고 외부 자극(빛, 기계적 힘)에 반응하는 고분자 설계에 초점을 맞추고 있으며, 고해상도 분석 기법(ESR, 중성자 반사도, 동적 광산란 등)을 통해 고분자 구조와 거동을 정량적으로 규명하고 있습니다.

A series of segmented polyurethanes (SPUs) containing various polyol soft segments was prepared and their resistance to oxidative degradation was investigated after aging in AgNO3 solution. The SPU with the polyether soft segment showed a large reduction in mechanical strength after exposure to the oxidative environment. Surface cracking was often observed for these specimens.
