Bong Hyun Sung 교수의 연구실은 미생물의 복잡한 생물학적 기능과 대사 경로를 해독하고, 이를 응용하여 환경 및 의료 분야의 도전 과제를 해결하고자 합니다. 주요 연구 분야로는 라이그닌의 미생물 분해를 통한 바이오연료 및 생체소재 개발, 혈관 기능 이상과 고콜레스테롤 간의 상관관계 분석, 그리고 생물막 형성 메커니즘을 제어하는 유전자 편집 기반의 대사 공학이 포함됩니다. 특히, 미생물의 최소 게놈 설계와 생물공정 최적화를 통해 지속 가능한 바이오테크놀로지 솔루션을 개발하고 있습니다.

The role of epinephrine in eliciting myocardial ischemia was examined in patients with coronary artery disease. Objective signs of ischemia and factors increasing myocardial oxygen consumption were compared during epinephrine infusion and supine bicycle exercise. Both epinephrine and exercise produced myocardial ischemia as evidenced by ST segment depression and angina. To assess plasma norepinephrine (NE) and epinephrine (E) concentrations at onset of exercise induced myocardial ischemia the authors studied 10 male patients (PTS), age = 56 +/- 8, with angiographically proven coronary disease during multistage supine bicycle exercise (BEX).
