Byoungjin Park 교수의 연구실은 주로 심혈관 질환의 예방 및 생체지표 탐색에 초점을 맞춘 의학 및 생물통계학적 연구를 수행합니다. 특히 비당뇨성 환자에서의 심장질환 발생 위험을 조기에 평가할 수 있는 혈액 생체지표(예: TyG 지수, METS-IR, UHR, AIP 등)의 임상적 유용성과 장기적 예측 능력을 다룹니다. 연구는 대규모 국민 건강 데이터를 기반으로 한 종단적 분석을 중심으로, 대사 증후군, 인슐린 저항성, 염증 반응과의 연관성을 탐색합니다. 특히 성별, 생활습관, 생물사회적 요인을 고려한 정밀의료 기반의 생체지표 해석을 목표로 합니다.
