이 교수의 연구실은 주로 고도로 정렬된 다공성 세라믹스, 특히 SiC 기반 다공성 재료의 설계 및 합성에 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 빙결 casting 기법을 활용해 대규모 다공구조를 형성하고, 이를 바탕으로 나노와이어를 내재한 복합 다공성 세라믹스를 제작하는 데에 전문성을 기르고 있습니다. 특히 뼈 조직공학 등 의료 응용을 고려한 다공구조 제어와 열처리를 통한 나노재료의 내재 성장 메커니즘에 대한 연구를 진행하고 있습니다.

We fabricated highly aligned porous silicon carbide (SiC) ceramics with well‐defined pore structures by freezing a polycarbosilane (PCS)/camphene solution. Although the included studies were limited by small numbers, results suggested possible association between chronic TSH suppression therapy and the lower BMD of spine and total hip in postmenopausal women (but not in premenopausal women and men) with DTC. A large, well-designed study with long-term follow-up would provide further insight into the influence of TSH suppression therapy and loss of BMD.
