Chanhee Chae 교수의 연구실은 돼지에서 발생하는 주요 전염병인 PRRS, PEDV, 이소스포라 코cc리아 등 소화기계 및 호흡기계 질환을 중심으로 병원체의 진단, 병리학적 특성 및 감염 메커니즘을 연구하고 있습니다. 특히 바이러스 및 기생충에 의한 돼지의 장염 및 생식장애와 관련된 분자진단 및 조직학적 분석을 통해 농장 수준의 질병 통제 전략 개발에 기여하고 있습니다. 연구는 임상 현장과의 유기적 연계를 통해 실제 문제 해결에 기여하는 실용적 방향성을 지닙니다.

Porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome (PRRS) virus (PRRSV) presents one of the challenging viral pathogens in the global pork industry.
