Cheol-Young Park 교수의 연구실은 대사질환과 신경퇴행성질환 간의 연관성, 특히 인슐린 저항성과 대사질환 지표가 뇌질환에 미치는 영향을 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 간지방간의 분자 기전을 규명하고 Sirt6-AMPK 경로를 통한 새로운 치료 타겟을 제시하며 간질환 치료 전략 개발에도 기여하고 있습니다. 또한 성장호르몬 분비 종양의 치료 반응 메커니즘을 이해하기 위해 신경전달물질 수용체 유전자 발현과 호르몬 반응성 간의 관계를 분석하고 있습니다.

In this large population study, TyG index was associated with an increased risk of dementia, including AD and VD, that was independent of traditional cardiovascular risk factors, although the effect size of the TyG index was small.
Our results demonstrate that RGZ significantly decreased hepatic lipid accumulation, and that this process appeared to be mediated by the activation of the Sirt6-AMPK pathway. We propose Sirt6 as a possible therapeutic target for hepatic steatosis.
