Dabin Kim 교수의 연구실은 비전 기반 자율 비행 및 다중 드론 시스템의 안정성과 안전성을 핵심으로 삼는다. 특히 시각 기반 상태 추정과 경로 계획에서 인지적 제약(예: 시야 확보)을 수학적으로 보장하는 제어 이론을 개발하며, 참조 거버너 기반 제어, 제약 유지 불변 집합, 학습 기반 리아푸노프 함수 등 최신 제어 이론을 응용한다. 또한 T³-멀티로터를 활용한 협동 운반 시스템 등 실용적 응용 분야로의 확장을 추구한다.
