다연 강 교수의 연구실은 주로 환경 인체 건강 영향 평가를 중심으로, 특히 실내 방사성 가스인 라돈의 노출이 폐암 발생에 미치는 영향을 체계적으로 연구하고 있습니다. 라돈 노출과 고혈압, 폐암 발생 간의 인구집단 기반 인과관계 분석을 통해 건강 위험 평가 및 예방 전략 수립에 기여하고 있으며, 장기적 실내 라돈 농도 예측 모델 개발에도 주력하고 있습니다. 특히 한국의 실내 환경에서의 라돈 농도 분포와 건강 영향 간의 관계를 정량적으로 분석하는 데 특화되어 있습니다.
