다혜현 박수의 연구실은 신경질환 및 대사질환과 관련된 신경-면역-장 축합성( gut-brain-skin/axis )을 중심으로, 스트레스, 호르몬, 면역 반응, 미생물군과의 상호작용이 만성 피부질환과 인지기능 저하에 미치는 영향을 연구하고 있습니다. 특히 알로페시아 아레아타, 아토피 피부염, 고지혈증 등에서 신경수질계와 면역계의 기능적 연결을 규명하고, 천연물소재(예: 후코이단, 홍경기 등)와 침술 치료의 기전을 전기생리학적·분자생물학적 수준에서 규명하고 있습니다. 이는 신체 전반의 생리적 균형 회복을 목표로 하는 종합적 접근의 신경면역학적 연구입니다.
