다이스케 후쿠오카 교수의 연구실은 마그네슘 및 알루미늄 기반 경량 합금의 신소재 개발에 중점을 두고 있으며, 특히 초임계성 변형 거동, 형상 기억 효과, 초탄성 거동, 수소 발생 특성 등에서의 응용 가능성을 탐구하고 있습니다. 나노구조 제어와 기계학습 기반 합금 설계를 통해 고온에서의 기계적 강도 향상과 효율적인 수소 공급 소재를 동시에 실현하고자 합니다. 연구는 경량 합금의 나노구조 제어, 상변화 거동, 그리고 응용 기술 개발을 중심으로 진행되고 있습니다.

Shape-memory alloys (SMAs), which display shape recovery upon heating, as well as superelasticity, offer many technological advantages in various applications. In Mg alloys, twins have been known to be an important deformation mechanism. However, their roles on deformation mechanisms have not been well understood. In this work, we performed tensile test of rolled sheets of AZ31 Mg alloys at room temperature. A number of large surface reliefs were observed in a region near a fractured edge.
