Dongryul Oh 교수의 연구실은 암 치료 후 합병증과 예후를 중심으로 한 방사선 옹호학 및 종양 영상학 분야에서 활발히 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 특히 방사선 치료 후 발생하는 골절(부족성 골절), 근육 손실과 영양 상태의 영향, 방사선 유발 폐손상의 예측 등 임상적 문제 해결을 목표로 하고 있으며, 방사선 치료의 안전성과 효과를 높이기 위한 다학제적 접근을 강조합니다.

Insufficiency fracture occurs when normal or physiological stress applied to weakened bone with demineralization and decreased elastic resistance. Excessive muscle loss rather than pre- and post-RT sarcopenia was a significant prognostic factor for OS and RFS, and it was also related to nutritional and inflammatory markers.
Dosimetric parameters were valuable in predicting the development of RP.
Lymph node metastasis was a poor prognostic factor and adjuvant RT may be useful in patients with microscopic residual tumor. However, because there were high loco-regional recurrences, additional study is needed to determine more effective RT such as increased RT dose or use of radiosensitizers.
