Eun Hee Hong 교수의 연구실은 미숙아 화저망막병변(ROP)의 유병률, 치료 패턴 및 장기적 안과 합병증에 대한 대규모 인구기반 연구를 중심으로 활동하고 있습니다. 특히 한국의 건강보험 데이터를 활용한 장기적 추적 연구를 통해 ROP의 전개 양상과 항VEGF 치료의 유효성 및 안전성에 대한 근거를 구축하고 있습니다. 또한 당뇨병성 망막병변의 유전자형과 항VEGF 치료 반응 간의 연관성에 대해서도 분석하여 개인 맞춤형 치료 전략 개발에 기여하고 있습니다.
