이 교수의 연구실은 신경생물학, 뼈 및 혈관의 상호작용, 염증 반응과 대사 조절, 그리고 세포 기반의 조직공학에 이르기까지 다학제적 접근을 통해 생체의 기능과 질병 메커니즘을 탐구하고 있습니다. 특히 시신경세포의 기능적 상호작용, 골형성과 혈관 형성의 관계, 그리고 기계적 신호가 상피세포 기능에 미치는 영향에 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 이들의 연구는 신경퇴행성 질환, 뼈 질환, 만성 염증성 질환의 새로운 치료 전략 개발에 기여하고 있습니다.
