Eun Ran Kim 교수의 연구실은 대장염성 장암(IBD)과 결장암의 발병 기전, 특히 만성 염증과 유전적 요인의 상호작용을 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 비침습적 진단 기술로는 소변 대사체 분석(NMR 대사체학)을 활용한 조기 결장암 선별법 개발에도 주력하고 있으며, 내시경적 치료법의 안전성과 효율성 향상을 위한 기술 개선도 함께 연구하고 있습니다. 특히 NAFLD/NASH 치료를 위한 장기작용성 이중 수용체 작용제의 임상적 응용 가능성에 대해서도 탐색하고 있습니다.
