Eun-Jung Park 교수의 연구실은 신경염증, 대사질환 및 유전자 발현 조절 메커니즘을 중심으로 한 분자생물학적 연구를 수행하고 있습니다. 특히 퍼옥시좀 증식 인자 수용체-γ(PPAR-γ)를 통한 뇌내 염증 반응 조절, 지방줄기세포를 활용한 얼굴 위축성 질환 치료, DNA 복구 메커니즘에서 핵소마의 역할 등 다양한 분야에서 기초의학과 임상응용을 연결하는 연구를 전개하고 있습니다. 최근에는 비알코올성 간지방질간염 치료를 위한 프로바이오틱스의 기전 규명에도 관심을 기울이고 있습니다.

Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor (PPAR)-gamma agonists are now emerging as therapeutic drugs for various inflammatory diseases.
