히로미 산다 교수의 연구실은 노화와 관련된 피부 건강 및 만성 상처 치유 분야에 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 고령 환자에서의 피부갈라짐, 압박성궤양, 유방재건 수술 후 합병증 등 피부 및 조직의 생리적 변화와 임상적 결과를 평가하는 데 주력하며, 초음파, 피부 물리적 특성 측정기기 등을 활용한 정량적 평가 방법 개발에도 기여하고 있습니다. 특히 상처 치유 예측 도구 및 영양 상태 평가 방법의 타당성과 신뢰성을 높이는 데 기여하고 있습니다.
