이 교수의 연구실은 호텔 산업 종사자들의 정서적 복지와 직장 내 심리적 경험에 초점을 맞추며, 특히 직장 내 고립감, 정서적 소진, 조직 유대감 등에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 심층적으로 탐구하고 있습니다. 주요 연구 방향은 직원의 심리적 well-being, 조직 몰입도, 이직 의지, 그리고 상하급자 간 관계가 조직 성과에 미치는 영향을 분석하는 데에 집중되어 있습니다. 특히 호텔 업종 특성상 높은 정서적 노동 요구가 요구되는 환경에서의 정서적 안정과 조직 문화의 역할을 중심으로 실증적 연구를 진행하고 있습니다.

This study aims to examine the effect of workplace loneliness on work engagement and organizational commitment and the moderating role of social relationships between an employee and his or her superior and coworkers in such mechanisms. The purpose of this study is to understand interrelationships among culinary employees’ perception of role stress, burnout, and turnover intent in a deluxe hotel. A total of 316 employees in Korea participated in the study. The results showed a positive relationship between employees’ perceptions of role stress and burnout. Recently, workplace harassment in the form of superiors abusing their power over subordinates has emerged as a social problem. In the deluxe hotel work environment, dealing with this issue starts by asking whether harassment by a superior has taken place – and if so, how it has influenced subordinates’ responses.
