Hyun Cheol Chung 교수의 연구실은 고형암 치료 분야에서 신약 항암제의 임상적 효과와 생물학적 기전을 탐구하고 있습니다. 특히 페를리주맙(anti-PD-1 항체)을 중심으로 자궁경부암, 소세포폐암, 헤르2 양성 위암 등 다양한 암 종류에서의 면역요법 효과를 평가하고 있으며, 생체표지자 기반 맞춤 치료 전략 개발에 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 임상 연구와 기초 연구를 융합하여 암 치료의 새로운 표준을 제시하고자 합니다.

Pembrolizumab monotherapy demonstrated durable antitumor activity and manageable safety in patients with advanced cervical cancer. On the basis of these results, the US Food and Drug Administration granted accelerated approval of pembrolizumab for patients with advanced PD-L1-positive cervical cancer who experienced progression during or after chemotherapy.

Treatment options for patients with HER2-positive advanced gastric cancer are limited, and the prognosis for these patients is poor.
