이 교수의 연구실은 청각 및 청각장애의 기초 및 임상 문제를 중심으로 청각 인지, 청각적 정보 처리, 이명, 메니에르병 및 전정질환의 기전과 진단에 중점을 두고 있습니다. 특히 청각 자극의 시간적 및 주파수적 특성, 음성 인식 능력, 수면 중 상기도 폐색의 동적 평가 등 청각 및 전정 기능의 정밀한 평가 방법 개발에 기여하고 있습니다. 또한 이명 환자에서 听력이 정상이지만 이명이 있는 귀의 기능적 차이를 규명하는 데에도 연구가 집중되어 있습니다.
