Insu Park 교수의 연구실은 나노촉매 및 광학적 소재를 중심으로 한 고성능 재활용 촉매 시스템 개발에 주력하고 있습니다. 특히 구리, 백금, 팔라듐, 르테늄 등의 금속 나노입자를 고체 기질에 고정시켜 반응성과 재사용성을 극대화한 촉매를 설계하며, 이는 유기합성 및 에너지 변환 분야에서 응용 가능성을 지닙니다. 또한, 광결정 기반의 파워 스플리터와 같은 나노광학 소자 설계 및 병원 정보 시스템의 사고 대응 능력에 대한 사회기술적 안전성 연구도 함께 진행하고 있습니다.

A new copper catalyst was developed by immobilizing copper nanoparticles in aluminum oxyhydoxide fiber. The catalyst showed high catalytic activity for the (3+2) Huisgen cycloaddition of nonactivated alkynes as well as activated ones with various azides at room temperature. The catalyst was recycled five times without significant loss of activity.
We propose a new power-splitting scheme in two-dimensional photonic crystals that can be applicable to photonic integrated circuits. Platinum-modified Au nanoparticles on a carbon support were prepared using carbon-supported Au nanoparticles as a substrate and a successive reduction process. These nanoparticles were applied as an electrocatalyst for formic acid electro-oxidation. Abstract The recyclable metal nanoparticle catalysts, rhodium in aluminum oxyhydroxide [Rh/AlO(OH)] and iridium in aluminum oxyhydroxide [Ir/AlO(OH)], were simply prepared from readily available reagents. The catalysts showed high activities in the hydrogenation of various arenes and ketones under mild conditions. Selective hydrogenation was possible for bicyclic and tricyclic arenes in high yields.
