김재호 교수의 연구실은 알츠하이머병의 조기 진단 및 병태생리 메커니즘 규명을 중심으로, 신경생물학적 생체마커와 머신러닝 기반 예측 모델을 융합한 정밀의료 연구를 수행하고 있습니다. 특히 혈중 프로테인 마커(p-tau217, GFAP, NfL)와 뇌 영상 데이터를 활용한 병변 진단 및 예후 예측에 초점을 맞추고 있으며, APOE4 유전자와 연령에 따른 질병 진행 패턴의 이질성에 대한 분석도 진행 중입니다. 또한, 신약 타겟으로서의 항고혈압 펩타이드 개발을 위한 미생물 유래 생물활성 펩타이드의 정제 및 기능 분석도 함께 수행하고 있습니다.

This study describes the purification and characterization of a novel antihypertensive angiotensin I-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitory peptide from Saccharomyces cerevisiae. 우리나라는 높은 고령화 속도에 따른 의료수요의 확대로 건강보험의 재정지출 규모가 급격히 증가하는 추세이다. 기존 연구에서는 재정지출 규모의 증가에 대한 원인으로 민간건강보험가입에 따른 의료수요의 증가를 들고 있다. 본 연구에서는 민간건강보험가입은 소득수준에 따라 가입행태가 이질적으로 나타나는 경향이 있다는 점을 고려하여 기존연구와 달리 소득분위별로 민간건강보험에 가입한 집단과 가입하지 않은 두 집단으로 나누어 의료수요의 차이를 분석하였다. 분석방법으로는 성향점수매칭(PSM)을 이용하여 내생성 문제를 통제하였으며, 조건부평균처치효과(ATT)분석을 이용하여 평균 외래진찰횟수, 입원횟수 그리고 입원일수를 비교하였다. 분석결과 외래진찰횟수, 입원횟수 그리고 입원일수 모두에서 민간건강보험가입자의 의료수요에 대한 도덕적 해이가 명확히 존재하고 있으며, 특히 가장 소득이 높은 4분위에서 도덕적 해이는 2분위나 3분위보다 현저히 높게 나타났다.

본 연구에서는 2008년 도입된 기초노령연금이 제도의 목적인 생활이 어려운 노인들의 생활안정과 복지증진을 얼마나 수행하고 있는지 평가하기 위해 기초노령연금 도입으로 소득불평등도와 양극화가 완화되고 있는가를 국민노후보장패널(KReIS)을 이용하여 살펴보았다. 분석결과를 정리하면, 먼저 기초노령연금도입이후 지니계수를 통한 소득불평등도를 분석한 결과 경상소득에서는 불평등도 완화효과가 존재하지만 총소득에서는 완화효과가 존재하지 않았다. 앳킨슨 지수를 통한 불평등도 분석에서도 경상소득이 불평등도를 감소시키는 효과가 존재하지만 총소득에서는 불평등도를 감소시키지 못해 기초노령연금도입에 따른 소득불평등 완화 효과가 존재하지 않았다. 기초노령연금도입이 양극화에 미치는 효과를 분석하기 위해 개선된 ER지수를 분석한 결과 다극화지수의 민감도()를 1.0에서 1.6으로 증가함에 따라 시장소득보다 경상소득에서 양극화가 더 빠르게 진행되어 기초노령연금의 도입에도 불구하고 노인가구의 양극화는 더 빠르게 이루어
